In the second classification game on Saturday at Youth Park, the Central Americans defeated Brazil 3-1. Ariel Vega led Panama to the win with a complete game two-hitter. Derek Arroyo tripled and scored on a wild pitch for a 3-0 lead in the fourth. Brazil only was able to avoid the shutout, as Eric Taniguchi crossed the plate on a throwing error of the catcher in the bottom of the fifth.
